General Information About School Organizational Teams
The reorganization of CCSD will ensure schools are transparent with school data, school performance plan, and alignment of budget. The reorganization structure puts a team in place at each school called a School Organizational Team (SOT). This team consists of a non-licensed representative (Support Staff), and a mixed-ratio of teacher to parent representation. This team will assist and advise the school principal in the development and implementation of the school plan of operation, consisting of the school performance plan and the strategic budget. Meetings will be held typically at 3:45 PM on Google Meet.
School Organizational Team (SOT) Election Process 2025
It is time to elect our new School Organizational Team (SOT) parent representatives for the 2025-2026 school year. We are seeking nominations for volunteers to serve a one-year commitment.
The School Organizational Team (SOT) at Galloway is composed of four parent members, two teacher members, one support staff member, and school administration. The SOT provides assistance and advice to the principal regarding the School Plan of Operation, assists with the selection of the next principal, and provides input regarding the principal. The SOT meets virtually on a monthly basis, after school hours. The SOT meeting schedule will be determined by the SOT members.
If you are interested in serving on or nominating a parent to serve on the Galloway Elementary SOT for the 2025-2026 school year, please respond to the Google Form. The nominations will be open 9/8/25-9/15/25. A ballot of parent names will be emailed to you and published on our school website, via a second Google Forms Survey with voting to be held from 9/22/25-9/29/25.
The first meeting for the 2025-2026 Galloway Elementary will be held in October. Thank you for your interest in supporting our school!
